bewitchingbritain:    This is where you go for a Valentine’s Day snog in England....Grope Lane in Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire. This street was originally named Gropecunt Lane, which I do not find to be a terribly romantic appellation; but there you are. There were actually many Gropecunt Lanes during the Middle Ages, including several in London; and these were streets where prostitution, general debauchery, shocking scenes and scandal could be found.    Oooooo look at the pretty bicycle with the basket! I suppose that is meant to class it up or something. (David Mullen flickr) i find this too hilarious not to reblog.
