Sometimes I still regret not at least trying to go to music school. But then I realize for the millionth time that it’s not practical for mediocre musicians if they have any other career option. And really, looking at the past two years, it’s pretty obvious that my real-life priorities don’t match my daydream priorities. I have the option of focusing just as much on music as I used to, but given my abilities, I’d rather attempt to do well at something else and let music fall to the background instead of being merely passable at two things.
Practicality ru(i?)ns everything.
